The sport of snowboarding has always been a source of inspiration for Fernet Hunter since our first experiences standing at the top of a mountain, a blank canvas, ready for us to drop in and carve our own path.

Our relationship with the mountains, like with snowboarding, has grown and progressed from the novice excitement of charging down the slopes, trying to tame the hills, to getting more in tune with the terrain and appreciating the majestic views. Every move and every turn, previously a race and rush of adrenaline, have taken true form as an effortless flow and an art.

This connection of board with snow is a celebration of movement and transcendence that we have captured for the launch of Fernet Hunter BC. The process of selecting a board is personal and intimate, more than just grabbing something found on a rack. And our time spent in Japan has brought awareness to the latest craft and style of board variety and shape. We’ve taken thes e two elements to create our own experience - combining the talents of our good friends with the expertise of amazing snowboard makers.

Fernet Hunter BC is a special edition of the original Fernet Hunter and a fresh take on a classic Italian bitter. Created in collaboration by Raphael Holzer (founder of Fernet Hunter) and Max Jenke (founder of Endeavor Snowboards), Fernet Hunter BC is a celebration of snowboard culture – a passion that Raphael and Max both share.

What separates Fernet Hunter BC from the rest of the Fernet Hunter family is the inclusion of wild blueberries, which are found around the town and forests of Brunnwald, Austria (the birthplace of Fernet Hunter) as well as in the Central and Northern Interior of British Columbia, Canada (where Endeavor originates). These wild blueberries are combined with Arnica, Orrisroot, and Lavender to produce a true bitter with strong aromatic character and complexity - ideally enjoyed on the rocks or with soda at the top of a snow-covered mountain.

Utilising the same slow rotational infusion method we are able to extract all these subtle and beautiful blueberry notes. After the extraction process Fernet Hunter BC is blended to achieve a mellow 29% ABV.

The liquid then rests for at least one month before being bottled and sent out to our partners. This product has only been available in British Colombia for the last 18 month and will now make it’s first appearance in Hong Kong. Fernet Hunter BC with it’s blueberry notes is a perfect beverage for the colder months, a drink that you want to take with you on your winter adventures.

On November 12th at the More Good space, we have created a showcase in collaboration with Max Jenke of Endeavor Snowboards and Stu Caddy of Island Snowboards to display six unique boards. With ample space for each board to breathe and natural light to appreciate the shapes, layers and graphics, the gallery is an opportunity for everyone to feel and ponder over which board will fit them best. Iconic shots from snowboard photographers Justin Hostinek and Tyler Ravelle will also be exhibited. Get fitted for your board on site and seamlessly put in your pre-order for all boards and artwork. Your future ride will thank you.

Tickets for entry to the gallery will include food and unlimited highballs, along with the option to add on the special Fernet Hunter and Endeavor collaboration bottle, Fernet Hunter BC, made with wild blueberries.

To up the excitement for snowboarding season, we’ll also be showing our favorite snowboarding movies from Absinthe Films to be enjoyed while you fill up on a menu of classic winter bites from Japan, Austria and Canada, made by the More Good crew. Join us for this unique adventure filled with snowboarding, friends and good vibes.
