Zou Zit Dinner featuring Chef Esther Sham & Chef Yip Shi Cheong 30 September 2025
Zou Zit 做節 celebrates the Chinese tradition of shared tables - extending the spirit of community abundance through partnership with More Good. Just as a Chinese family meal ensures no one leaves the table hungry, the dinner series ensures that the evening's abundance extends to Hong Kong's most vulnerable communities.
In celebration of Mid-Autumn, this year's Zou Zit dinner honors 團圓, or togetherness, featuring an extraordinary four-hands collaboration between culinary stars, Chef Esther Sham and Chef Yip Shi Cheong, artfully blending Shanghainese and Sichuan regional cuisines, served family-style. Guests can anticipate signature dishes including Black Pepper Live Surf Clam 【椒汁活北寄貝】, Foie Gras Wonton Soup 【鵝肝雲吞雞湯】, Sichuan-style Fish Maw 【川式水煮花膠扒】, and Mala Lobster Noodles 【麻辣醬龍蝦拌麵】.
The evening's free-flow beverage program will be curated by The Old Man, ranked among Asia's 50 Best Bars, who will debut two signature cocktails specially crafted to complement the bold Chinese flavors of the evening, with cognac pairings by Hennessy.
Heritage local businesses, Man Fung Noodle Shop 【民豐粉麵行】lead tong yuen (glutinous rice ball) making, while Kingstone Engraving Company 【金石軒】personalize stone stamps to bring blessings for guests throughout the evening.
Join us under the harvest moon, as we come together in celebration to share in prosperity with friends and communities in need.
